ROCHESTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – After firing an opening round 326 at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team turned in a 325 to finish with a cumulative score of 651 in fifth-place. The tournament was hosted by Oakland University at the par 72, 6,056 yard Katke-Cousins Golf Course.
Freshman Abby Livingston (Novi, Mich.-Novi) was one of three Eagles to reside inside the top-15 spots after firing a 158 (78-80) to tie for seventh in her collegiate debut. Sophomore Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) followed with a 162 (86-76) in a tie for 13th, while playing as an individual junior Katelin Lawson (LaSalle, Ontario-Ridge Community-University of Tampa) was 15th after a 163 (80-82).
