BRIGHTON, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Hannah Thompson (Schoolcraft, Mich.-Schoolcraft) scored her first collegiate goal to help the Eastern Michigan University soccer program come back for a 1-1 draw with visiting Dartmouth College Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Mich. Thompson's goal not only helped the Eagles (1-2-2, 0-0-0 MAC) overcome the Big Green's (2-1-1, 0-0-0 IVY) early lead, it also found its way into the record books as the program's 800th all-time goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams looked poised for a fast-paced contest and did not disappoint and each side raced up and down the pitch looking to find a scoring touch.
