Coming off the controversial loss to Ball State University, the Eastern Michigan men’s basketball team would lose its fourth straight game to the Kent State University Golden Flashes, 73-58, in Kent, OH.
Despite Eastern Michigan center James Thompson scoring his second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, it wasn’t enough. Raven Lee would be the top scorer for the Eagles, finishing with 15 points and four steals.
The Eagles quickly got off to a flying start, going on a 6-0 run in the first two minutes of the game, with four of those points coming from Thompson.
