KANSAS CITY, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University men's basketball junior James Thompson IV (Baton Rouge, La.-Parkview Baptist) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 14 First Team Wednesday, March 13. It marks the third straight year that the organization has recognized the Eagles' center.
Thompson, who had been a member of the NABC All-District 14 Second Team each of his first two seasons in the Green and White, had a fantastic junior campaign, averaging 14.7 points per game as well as a Mid-American Conference-best 11.0 rebounds per contest.
