OXFORD, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team got back on track in a dominating 74-57 win over Miami University Saturday afternoon, Jan. 28, at Millett Hall. The Eagles (13-8, 5-3 MAC) had an efficient offensive and stifling defensive effort to pick up their first win in Oxford since 1996.
The RedHawks (9-12, 2-6 MAC) had no response for sophomore James Thompson IV (Baton Rouge, La.-Parkview Baptist) as the big man had 26 points and 20 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season and 30th of his career.
