CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team will officially get its spring season underway Sunday, Jan. 29 when it treks to Cleveland, Ohio for a matchup with Cleveland State University. The action is set to begin at 2 p.m.
For Eastern Michigan, it will be a day of firsts. After playing in a pair of events in the fall, Sunday will mark the first team-scored event for the program in the 2022-23 campaign. It will also be the first match of record for first-year Head Coach Steve Schram, who came to EMU last summer after a successful stint as the head man at the University of Southern Mississippi.
