YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team opens its first weekend of Mid-American Conference play with matches against the University of Akron, Friday, March 23 at 1 p.m., and the University at Buffalo, Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. Following the two conference matches is a non-conference bout against NCAA Division II Wayne State University, Saturday, March 25 at 5 p.m. The Eagles will play both MAC matches at the Chippewa Racquet Club, while they host Wayne State at the University of Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center.
The Eagles (10-3) have stormed past their 2017 victory total, adding two more convincing wins last weekend over in-state foes Oakland (6-1) and Detroit (5-2).
