DANVILLE/CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team is back on the road for another weekend of on court action, this time squaring off with both Eastern Illinois and the University of Illinois Sunday, Jan. 26.
Eastern (0-1) looks to build off its season-opening performance at Michigan State, Jan. 23. Although the Eagles were unable to claim the match against MSU, numerous players displayed strong early-season efforts to earn multiple game-wins over the Spartans.
Already five matches into its spring campaign, Eastern Illinois (4-1) has proven to be a challenging competitor for any team that faces it.
