YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving team returns to the pool Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 16-17, when it competes in the Ohio State Winter Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. EMU is competing in the Invitational for the seventh consecutive year.
At last year's OSU Winter Invitational, the Eagles notched 10 career-best performances over the two-day event. The first day of competition was highlighted by the efforts of then-sophomores Sydney Thomas (Jamestown, N.Y.- Southwestern Senior) and Kylie Sutherlin (Fishers, Ind.- Hamilton Southeastern). Thomas posted a career-best time of 4:59.
