GRANVILLE, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving team wrapped up competition Saturday, Dec. 1, at the inaugural Denison Invitational inside Trumbull Aquatics Center. Eastern saved its best performance for the final day of the event, posting three event wins and earning two podium sweeps to finish the invitational in second place with 2,046 points.
Leading the Eagles on Saturday were junior Claire Young (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.-Grosse Pointe South) and senior Nicole Swartz (Dayton, Ohio-Centerville), who each earned their second event title of the weekend.
