EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior long snapper Drake Sutton (Menomonee Falls, Wis.-Menomonee Falls) has been named to the Special Teams University All-American Watch List. Sutton is one of 12 players from college football named to the list and the only Mid-American Conference representative.
Sutton was EMU's primary long snapper in all 13 games during the 2018 campaign and has played in 25 games in his career. Eastern's special teams ranked second in the nation in punts downed inside the five-yard line, fourth in punts downed inside the 10, and 23rd in punts downed inside the 20.
