(EMUEagles.com) – Under much improved scoring conditions at the Loyola Intercollegiate, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team jumped into fourth-place with a 573 (292-281) Sunday, Feb. 23. EMU improved two-spots on the leaderboard and is just five strokes off the pace set by Drake (286-282=568).
Senior Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas-Boyd-Stephen F. Austin) left his mark on the course by posting a career-best 66 on the par 72, 7,015-yard Palm Valley Golf Club. Sudinsky noted an eagle on he par-5 11th hole while also adding five birdies to sit in a tie for fifth.
