YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University head men's track and field coach John Goodridge announced the promotion of Sterling Roberts to assistant head coach, effective Monday, Oct. 21.
Roberts enters his eighth season on the Eagles' coaching staff after seven years as an assistant coach with the program, specializing in sprints, hurdles, and jumps. Roberts was honored by the Mid-American Conference as its inaugural Men's Indoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year in 2018, before sweeping the MAC Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year awards following the 2019 campaign.
