ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior Newlyn Stephenson (Gary, Ind.-Thea Bowman Leadership Academy) will compete in the weight throw at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday, March 10, at 7 p.m. MT (9 p.m. ET). The championships will be hosted by the University of New Mexico at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Stephenson is the first EMU thrower to compete in the weight throw three times at the national meet. He finished 11th in 2022 with a heave of 21.
