KANSAS CITY, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team was awarded the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award by the United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced, Jan. 3.
The Eagles were awarded the bronze level of the award, and is one of 143 teams over four divisions of NCAA soccer to earn the honor for the 2019 season. Additionally, Eastern is the only team from the Mid-American Conference to be recognized. This is the second team award from the United Soccer Coaches for EMU this season, after previously earning the Team Academic Award in October.
