YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — After leading the Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving team to its eighth consecutive Mid-American Conference dual victory, senior Sierra Wagner (Huntsville, Texas-Huntsville) was named MAC Co-Swimmer of the Week for the period ending, Nov. 6. The league office's announcement Thursday night, Nov. 10, marked the first time Wagner has earned the award.
The leading point scorer for the Eagles against the University of Toledo, Nov. 5, Wagner totaled four first-place finishes on the day to fuel the Eagles to a 138-110 victory.
The Huntsville, Texas product posted the team's fastest split to lead the Green and White to a first-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, as the Eagles clocked in with a time of 1:42.
