YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Seven members of the Eastern Michigan University rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athletes, the association announced Thursday, June 28.
To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, be in their sophomore year or later, and have rowed in one of their institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boats for 75 percent of the spring races or the regional conference event.
EMU's honorees for the 2018-19 season were: seniors Baylee Kinkade (Portage, Mich.-Portage Central) and Addison Oblanas (Seattle, Wash.
