YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – An accomplished member of the Eastern Michigan University women's cross country and track and field teams, senior Abbigail Stemple (Mason, Ohio-William Mason) served as President of EMU's Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and Secretary of the Mid-American Conference Council of Student-Athletes (COSA) during the 2019-20 season.
During her junior year, Stemple was one of two MAC student-athletes selected to attend the 2019 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum. During that season, Stemple served as Vice President of Eastern Michigan's SAAC and was also appointed to represent her fellow student-athletes at COSA.
