YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan men's basketball team lost a tight contest Wednesday, Dec. 19, to the University of California Irvine, falling 52-48 in the Convocation Center.

Redshirt senior Elijah Minnie (Pittsburgh, Pa.-Lincoln Park (Robert Morris)) led the Eagles with 15 points, while also chipping in three rebounds and two blocks, making it his second- straight game with double-digit points and his fifth on the season. Sophomore Kevin McAdoo (Pontiac, Mich.-West Bloomfield) followed close behind with 11 points off the bench and added two steals.
