AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – We all know that old saying, "save the best for last." That proved to be the case for the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team in its final regular season tune up before next week's Mid-American Conference Championships, as the team posted its best 18-hole mark and overall team finish at the Akron Invitational, April 17.
Head Coach Stephanie Jenning's crew fired a final round 298, the program's lowest single-round tally since a 297 at the Low Country Invitational, March 2, 2020.
