EUGENE, Ore. (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University Men's Track & Field student-athlete Donald Scott qualified for the United States' Olympic Team in the triple jump with a third-place finish in the event's finals, jumping 16.87m (55-04.25) at the United States' Olympic Track & Field Trials, held at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field Sunday, June 30.
By making the team, Scott became the eighth former Eagle to make multiple Olympic teams and first since Eric Alejandro made the Puerto Rican squad for the 2012 London games and the 2016 games held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
