NOTRE DAME, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team earned a pair of podium finishes during the first day of the Meyo Invitational Friday, Feb. 7 inside the Loftus Sports Center.
Redshirt junior Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va.-Fishburne Military) captured the Eagles' lone individual title of the night, winning the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 15.92 meters. He has claimed first prize in the triple jump at each of the four meets in which he has competed in that event. Junior Owen Richardson (Basingstoke, England-The Costello School) also shined for EMU, as he represented the program in the 200-meter dash and took home third place with a time of 21.
