WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) - Freshman Chad Ryland (Lebanon, Pa.-Cedar Crest) drilled a 24-yard field goal as time expired to give the Eastern Michigan University football team a 20-19 win over Purdue University Saturday, Sept. 8, at Ross-Ade Stadium. With the win, EMU secured its second victory over a 'Power 5' opponent in program history. The win moved the Eagles to 2-0 on the season, and is just the third time they have won back-to-back games to open the season in the past 20 years.
