GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team collected five podium finishes at the Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Association (MACRA) Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University Sunday, April 28. In their respective Grand Final performances, EMU's First Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight boats earned first-place finishes. The Eagles' Third Varsity Eight earned a second-place effort, while the Novice Eight and Varsity Four squads finished third overall in their afternoon performances. The team secured a fifth-place finish in the "Lindamood" Team Points Trophy competition, collecting a total of 27 points.
