GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University rowing team heads north to compete in the Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Association (MACRA) Championships, hosted by Grand Valley State University, Sunday, April 28.
The Eagles last competed in the MACRA Championships in 2017, winning three of four Grand Finals. The First Varsity Eight took home the J Clark Wray Cup crown for the first time in program history, winning the event with a time of 6:53.6. The Novice Four outpaced five other boats to earn a first-place finish in the Larry Tolle Cup finals, finishing over 24 seconds before second-place Grand Valley State with a time of 8:08.
