PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (EMUEagles.com) – After a successful 2021 spring season, the Eastern Michigan University rowing team readies for a chance at the conference crown at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships Sunday, May 16. The championship regatta will take place on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. for the fourth-straight season. Last season's conference championship was canceled due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
"We're excited. It's been a long time. There's been a lot of things we have put off or put on hold. This year it's been a lot of sacrifices to get here. Sacrifices missing time with family, or not being able to go do things that you would normally do just to make sure that we are safe and staying away from COVID," said Head Coach Kemp Savage.
