YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team tallied wins over the University of Dayton this afternoon, April 11, on Ford Lake.
The 1V8+ boat notched the fastest time of the day on the 2000-meter course at 7:29.25, which was 9.18 seconds faster than Dayton's top boat. The Flyers recorded a 7:38.43 finish.
Eastern's 2V8+ team won its race with a time of 7:45.22, 46.46 seconds ahead of the Flyers (8:31.68). Additionally, the Green and White's 3V8+ squad crossed the finish line in 9:10.06.
In the V4+ race, EMU's 'A' team posted the victory with a time of 8:41.
