YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team finished its home schedule today, April 24, against Big Ten opponent Michigan State University on Ford Lake. The Eagles honored nine seniors after the regatta for their dedication to the EMU rowing program. Additionally, Head Coach Kemp Savage and the coaching staff recognized letterwinners with their varsity jackets.
"We raced well today. I was particularly happy with the execution of the race plan in the 1V," Savage said. "We fixed a lot in our 2V, but we still have a lot of work to do before we see Wisconsin next weekend and the CAA's in two weekends.
