SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – After a slow start to the University of Louisville's Cardinal Challenge, senior Nic Ross (Dundas, Ontario, Canada-Highland Secondary) flipped the script Sunday, Oct. 1, on the par-72, 7,192-yard University of Louisville Golf Club course. Ross closed out the weekend with a sizzling six-under 66, a mark that is tied for the 10th lowest single-round tally in program history, to tie for 11th-place with a 54 hole mark of 219 (79-74-66). Meanwhile, freshman Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) was the model of consistency posting a trio of 73s for a cumulative 219 for his first career top-15 showing.
