DEKALB, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team finished second against a pair of Mid-American Conference foes at the NIU Triangular Friday night, Jan. 18, inside NIU's Convocation Center. The Eagles posted season-best scores on floor (49.100) and bars (48.600) to take second-place with a score of season-high 194.300. Northern Illinois University topped the team standings at 194.675, while Western Michigan University finished third with a 192.200.

"Our goal is always to hit 24-for-24 routines and we succeeded with that tonight," Head Coach Katie Minasola said.
