CARMEL, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team was outstanding in the first round of the Lady Jaguar Invitational, hosted by IUPUI at the Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. today, April 16. Led by a career effort from sophomore Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland), the team fired a tournament-best four-over, 292, and holds a five-shot advantage on the field heading into the final 18 holes of play.
As a team, Eastern's 292 is its best single-round score of the spring season, and its second-best overall during the 2021-22 campaign.
