CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly honorees for lacrosse awards, March 11, with Eastern Michigan University's Maddie Porter being named the MAC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive week. One of the top goalkeepers in the MAC, including her league-leading .507 save percentage, Porter helped the Eagles to a 1-1 record as they won, 10-4, at Butler University, March 7, before falling at the University of Cincinnati, 13-9, March 9.
Porter (Montrose, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) averaged 8.5 saves per game on the weekend as she tallied six at Butler to lead the Eagles to their program-record fourth consecutive win before stopping 11 at Cincinnati.
