BOGOTA, Colombia (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University sophomore women's basketball player Natalia Pineda (Miami, Fla.-John A. Ferguson) will represent Team Columbia at the FIBA U-19 World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand, July 20-28.
"We are excited Natalia gets to experience this unique opportunity to represent the Colombian national team," EMU Head Women's Basketball Coach Fred Castro said. "She has worked incredibly hard on her game this offseason. This trip will be a great setting for her to continue to develop her game and see the by product of all of her hard work.
