OXFORD, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – A title in the 1-meter dive highlighted the second night of competition at the Mid-American Conference Championships Thursday, March 1, inside the Nixon Aquatic Center for the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team. The Eagles currently sit in second-place with 283 points, trailing Missouri State University (298.5), while ahead of Miami University (264).
Freshman Al'x Pierre (London, Ontario-St. Thomas Aquinas) was Eastern's top finisher of the night, as he won the 1-meter diving MAC title with a career-best score of 352.95. With his total, Pierre registered the highest mark on the 1-meter for the Green and White this season.
