PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team bounced back with a stout offensive performance in a 12-7 victory over St. Bonaventure University, Friday afternoon, Feb. 24, at the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte.
Eastern (2-4) totaled their best offensive output of the season, getting their 12 runs on 16 hits. Leading the charge once again was senior John Montgomery (Anaheim Hills, Calif.-JSerra), who finished with a 2-for-4 day with two RBI's on his first home run of the season, which was a two-run shot. It was the ninth of his career.
