YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team had success all around the diamond tonight, April 16, against its Mid-American Conference rival, Ball State University as it defeated the Cardinals, 10-6, under the lights at Oestrike Stadium.
The first game of a four-game weekend set between the foes saw Eastern (9-17, 5-12 MAC) outpace Ball State (19-10, 10-3 MAC) in runs (10-6), hits (15-10), RBI (9-6), and home runs (1-0), to earn its first home win of the season. EMU's 15 hits is a season-best, while its nine RBIs tie for the season-best mark.
