The Eastern Michigan men’s basketball team broke its nine game losing streak against the University of Detroit-Mercy on an icy, cold Monday night.
Brandon Nazione had a breakout performance for the Eagles, finishing with 23 points. He also had seven rebounds and five steals. Nazione, who has been described as, “the glue that holds this team together,” by coach Rob Murphy, broke his career high in points.
“I thought I played solid defensively. It’s what we do as a program,” Nazione said. “I thought I played pretty well. My teammates put me in a lot of positions to get a lot of buckets.
