UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University track & field program will see three Eagles compete this weekend at the Jet's Pizza Invitational, Jan. 28-29. The two-day meet, hosted by Saginaw State University, kicks off on Friday at 11:15 a.m. and picks up at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The trio of multis competitors consists of senior Skyler Lester (Marietta, Ga.-Marietta), junior Chevonne Wheeler (Redford, Mich.-Divine Child), and freshman Maleah Scott (Farmington, Minn.-Farmington).
Lester recorded the fourth-best heptathlon score in school history last year, accumulating 5,167 points at the GVSU Snowdown Showdown, Feb.
