CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University men's basketball freshman Mo Njie (Centerville, Ohio-Centerville DME Sports Academy) earned Mid-American Conference postseason honors the league announced Wednesday, March 9. Njie was selected as a member of the All-MAC Freshman Team.
Njie is the first EMU player to receive the honor since James Thompson IV in 2016. Additionally, he is the fifth in program history to garner the award.
The center started 25 of the 28 games he played in this season, averaging 6.6 points per game, and 5.3 rebounds per contest.
