ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team collected six top-three finishes at the Silverston Invitational Friday, Feb. 21 inside the U-M Indoor Track Building. The meet marked EMU's second trip of the season to the University of Michigan after it competed at the Wolverine Invitational, Jan. 11.
Redshirt freshman Eddie Zuercher (Rocky River, Ohio-Rocky River) was the runner-up in the mile run with a time of 4:15.89, while freshman harrier Toby Gualter (Tawa, New Zealand-Tawa College) was right behind in third place as he crossed the finish line in 4:16.
