YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team will conclude a five-game homestand, as the Eagles play host to the University of Akron Saturday, Jan. 9. Tipoff is slated for 2:04 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.
The Eagles (2-3, 0-2 MAC) dropped their second home conference game of the young season to Central Michigan, Dec. 29, 87-60. Akron (4-1, 2-0 MAC) is on a hot streak as the Zips have won the last three games, including a 66-62 victory over rival Kent State, Jan. 1. UA has had two consecutive games postponed recently due to COVID-19 protocols, against Central Michigan and Buffalo.
