IOWA CITY, Iowa (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team competes for the final time before the Mid-American Conference Championships April 26-28, when it participates in the Hawkeye Invitational, April 20-21. The 54-hole event, hosted by the University of Iowa, will take place on the par-71, 6,884-yard Finkbine Golf Course.
The Eagles face 12 other squads, as the invitational consists of teams from DePaul, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oral Roberts, South Dakota State, UMKC, and Wisconsin.
Eastern Michigan most recently competed in the state of Iowa in the fall of 2017, finishing 10th overall at the Golfweek Conference Challenge with a team score of 883 (294-291-298).
