Men's Golf Captures Raising Canes Intercollegiate Going Away

RICHMOND, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team captured its first tournament title in over eight years Sunday, Sept. 16, with a first-place finish at the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate. The Eagles carded a two-under 838 (274-283-281) to win the 54-hole affair by 10 strokes.

The victory was Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's eighth team title since the 2005-06 campaign and the program's first stroke-play win since winning the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, April 10-11, 2010, in Columbus, Ohio.
