YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball program and first-year Head Coach Stan Heath continued to build the EMU roster with the signing of Javantae Randle (Detroit, Mich.-Frederick Douglass), the team announced today, Aug. 23.
"At 6-foot-10 with very good shooting and finishing skills with natural shot-blocking instincts, Javantae's best basketball is ahead of him," said Heath. "As a true freshman, he has versatility and strong instincts especially on the defensive end. I really like the fact that he is coming off a state championship with Detroit Frederick Douglass High School.
