YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University women's track and field seniors Jordann McDermitt (Davison, Mich.-Davison) and Janina Pollatz (Grand Rapids, Mich.-Grand Rapids Christian) earned Academic All-District First Team honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The Academic All-District® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The fifth district is the geographical region of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, and is comprised of 11 players.
