YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Matt Cline, the director of basketball operations for the East Tennessee State University men's basketball team, has been named an assistant men's basketball coach at Eastern Michigan University, Head Coach Rob Murphy announced today, June 6. He previously served as EMU's director of basketball operations from 2014-16.
"I'm extremely excited to have Matt return to our staff in a coaching role," remarked Murphy. "Matt brings high basketball intellect, the ability to relate to our student-athletes, along with being a tireless worker that will help make an immediate impact in our program.
