CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University student-athlete Zack Mason (Toronto, Ontario-Blyth Academy Lawrence Park) was named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week, the league announced today, Sept. 12. The award, the first for the Toronto native, comes on the heels of Mason's eight-under finish at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational, held Sept. 9-10, in Huntington, W.V.
Mason closed with a final round 68 for a two-day tally of eight-under 205 (70-67-68). The three round total is the third-best in program history and just five shots off Tyler Lewis' all-time mark of 200 set at the Loyola Intercollegiate, Feb.
