CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday, July 9, its list of Distinguished Scholar Athletes from the eight spring sports for the 2017-18 academic season. Out of the 138 student-athletes on the list, 16 Eagles were recognized as the 'best of the best' from each sport's Academic All-MAC teams.
Women's track and field led the way with seven honorees for the second consecutive year, while baseball followed with four. Moreover, men's track and field added three, with men's golf and softball each having one. Out of the 16 selections, 10 earned a GPA of 3.
