CLEVELAND, Ohio (MAC-Sports.com) – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced today one of the most comprehensive Diversity & Inclusion Programs in Division I intercollegiate athletics. This program received unanimous approval by the MAC Council of Presidents after receiving a recommendation from the Council of Directors of Athletics following the recent Fall meetings.
The MAC Diversity & Inclusion Program, which will begin in the Fall of 2017, will position the MAC as a leader in the acceleration and growth of the pool of minority candidates for collegiate job opportunities in coaching and administration with six specific and coordinated program initiatives.
