CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University baseball student-athlete Logan Hugo was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Player of the Week, the conference office announced, Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The honor marks the first of Hugo's (Essexville, Mich./Essexville Garber) career and comes after the senior outfielder spearheaded the Eagles' offense in a 2-1 week at Central Arkansas, Saturday-Monday, Feb. 22-24. In 13 at-bats, Hugo batted .538 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and 1.600 OPS. He notched seven hits, four of which went for extra bases (three doubles, one homer), while driving in seven runs, and totaling 13 bases.
